If its good for Wimbledon tennis pros is good enough for you!

Yesterday the papers reported that Wimbledon tennis pro Heather Watson uses acupuncture to prevent injuries.

Many athletes and sports professionals use traditional acupuncture to keep  at peak performance.

If you do injure yourself during training ice can help reduce inflammation but massage may prove difficult as the area will be too tender. This is where acupuncture has its strength, it can be administered even with acute injuries as it helps to reduce the inflammatory process, promote circulation in the area, reduce pain and increase the healing process of the body thereby speeding you back to health and fitness.

Acupuncture has also been proven safe, effective and cheap to administer in the trained hands of a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council like myself. It is the UK’s largest professional body for traditional acupuncturists and membership guarantees excellence in training, safe practice and professional conduct.

I use a mixture of acupuncture, massage, herb plasters and cupping for sports and musculoskeletal injuries. If you want to find out more information call the clinic for a free initial 15 minute consultation - 01323 638606.
